Finitely Generated Annihilating-Ideal Graph of Commutative Rings
Let $R$ be a commutative ring and $mathbb{A}(R)$ be the set of all ideals with non-zero annihilators. Assume that $mathbb{A}^*(R)=mathbb{A}(R)diagdown {0}$ and $mathbb{F}(R)$ denote the set of all finitely generated ideals of $R$. In this paper, we introduce and investigate the {it finitely generated subgraph} of the annihilating-ideal graph of $R$, denoted by $mathbb{AG}_F(R)$. It is the (undi...
متن کاملFinitely Generated Modules over Pullback Rings
The purpose of this paper is to outline a new approach to the classii-cation of nitely generated indecomposable modules over certain kinds of pullback rings. If R is the pullback of two hereditary noetherian serial rings over a common semi{simple artinian ring, then this classiication can be divided into the classiica-tion of indecomposable artinian modules and those modules over the coordinate...
متن کاملPeriodic rings with finitely generated underlying group
We study periodic rings that are finitely generated as groups. We prove several structure results. We classify periodic rings that are free of rank at most 2, and also periodic rings R such that R is finitely generated as a group and R/t(R) Z. In this way, we construct new classes of periodic rings. We also ask a question concerning the connection to periodic rings that are finitely generated a...
متن کاملThe Space of Finitely Generated Rings
The space of marked commutative rings on n given generators is a compact metrizable space. We compute the Cantor-Bendixson rank of any member of this space. For instance, the Cantor-Bendixson rank of the free commutative ring on n generators is ωn, where ω is the smallest infinite ordinal. More generally, we work in the space of finitely generated modules over a given commutative ring.
متن کاملComputational ideal theory in finitely generated extension rings
One of the most general extensions of Buchberger's theory of Grobner bases is the concept of graded structures due to Robbiano and Mora. But in order to obtain algorithmic solutions for the computation of Gr obner bases it needs additional computability assumptions. In this paper we introduce natural graded structures of nitely generated extension rings and present subclasses of such structur...
